TRAVIS MCCRACKEN

Travis McCracken serves as the Vice President of Human Resources for Coastal Horizons Center, Inc. He has over 18 years of diverse Human Resources experience ranging from staffing, healthcare, real estate, and manufacturing.

In Travis's current role, he provides Coastal Horizons with full HR oversight and strategic planning, including policy and procedure development, performance management, employee relations, benefits administration, and full cycle hiring processes. He also provides guidance on complex HR issues to a diverse range of clients.

Travis began his HR career in West Virginia as a Recruiter for a healthcare company. While in WV he worked in both the healthcare and manufacturing spaces in positions from Recruiter to HR Director.

After relocating to Wilmington, North Carolina he helped open a new branch of On Target Staffing as their Talent Acquisition Recruiter. Then he was the Branch/HR Manager for IntelliChoice Home Care where he spent three and a half years in all aspects of staffing, recruitment, retention, compliance, and auditing. Following IntelliChoice, Travis worked briefly as an HR Director for Southland Companies and then joined Global Laser Enrichment in 2022. Travis then accepted the role at Coastal Horizons in May of 2026. 

Travis earned a B.S. in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Human Resources from Mountain State University in Beckley, WV. He also obtained his Masters in Human Resources Management. Travis is also dually HR certified in both SHRM-SCP & SPHR.

He is married to his high school sweetheart, Michelle, and they have two boys, Isaac, and Reece as well as three dogs. In his free-time Travis enjoys spending time with his wife, traveling, music, singing, going to the beach, Starbucks, watching The Office & Big Bang Theory re-runs, and serving at his church.
